By accessing our website (https://www.sheelersda.com) or opting into our SMS communication services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this site or subscribing to our messaging program, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or have parent/guardian consent. As a religious organization, our services are provided to foster spiritual growth and community coordination under the ecclesiastical principles of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

2. SMS Messaging Program (A2P 10DLC Compliance)

  • Purpose: Messages include weekly Sabbath service reminders, prayer meeting updates, ministry schedule changes (e.g., Food Pantry, Pathfinders), and urgent weather-related cancellations.

  • Opt-In: You must explicitly consent to receive SMS. By checking the un-selected box on our web forms or signing a physical “Connection Card,” you agree to receive recurring informational text messages. Consent is not a condition of membership or receiving spiritual care.

  • User Responsibilities: You agree to provide a valid mobile number owned by you. If you change your number, you are responsible for updating your contact information with the church office.

3. Message Frequency and Costs

  • Frequency: Message frequency varies based on church activity and your specific ministry involvement.

  • Fees: Message and data rates may apply. Sheeler SDA Church does not charge for this service, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending and receiving text messages according to your individual plan.

4. Help and Opt-Out Instructions

  • To Stop: You may opt-out of SMS communication at any time. Text STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to our church number. You will receive one final message confirming your unsubscribe status.

  • To Get Help: Text HELP or INFO for more information, or contact our office directly at help@sheelersda.com.

5. Privacy and Data Protection (Strict Non-Sharing)

In accordance with Adventist Church privacy standards and carrier requirements: Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
